Faceted Tile

The faceted tile is comprised of dozens of variable sized crevices and pockets on both sides of the tile, the sharp angles mimic rock cracks found in nature and store water for longer periods between tidal fluctuations, thereby reducing risk of species desiccation. The facets in the panel create variable shading on the surface of the panel as well as provide shade and refuge for species behind the panel. Each tile measures 1000mm square.
